Suraj Singh Dhillon is a practicing attorney licensed in Oklahoma, Texas, and Colorado, dedicated to providing strategic legal counsel across a multitude of industries. Since joining Gies Law Firm, PLLC in 2021, he has advised cannabis entrepreneurs and businesses on regulatory compliance, licensing, contract disputes, settlement negotiations, and criminal defense.

Born and raised in Fort Worth, TX, Suraj was a dedicated student-athlete whose passion for football led him to play at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and later at the University of Northern Colorado. His experience as a disciplined and hardworking athlete serves as the foundation for his approach to law—one that values persistence, strategic execution, and a commitment to excellence. Suraj treats every case with the respect it deserves, keeping his clients’ best interests at the forefront while striving to exceed their expectations.

While attending the Montfort College of Business, Suraj gained hands-on experience in business management and marketing. He was selected as an international business spokesman for the university, participating in global business competitions and conferences throughout the EU and UK. He later earned his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he founded the Cannabis Law Society, (< link OCU Law blog) creating an open forum for legal discussions surrounding cannabis regulations and industry developments. As President of the Texas Legal Society, he continues to expand his legal practice in Texas while serving the needs of clients throughout Oklahoma and Colorado.

In addition to his work with Gies Law Firm, PLLC, Suraj is the founder of Gladiators At Law, PLLC, a Texas-based law firm offering legal services in cannabis law, criminal defense, and business development.
